We enjoyed Nelly's and Philippe's hospitality and the wonderful food during our vacation near Ferrals early October 2017. It does not happen too often, that form the very first moment you feel welcome and that you leave the restaurant with the feeling that you met somebody special. All we can hope for is that Nelly and Philippe are successful. Their small restaurant is one of the best we have seen in this region.
Back in June 2019! Three more lovely evenings at the L'Auberge de Ferrals. The food excellent (due to Nelly), the Service fully mastered by an ever friendly and charming Philippe. We really love this place!Visited in July 2019
Visited today for lunch, warmly welcomed, homely atmosphere with real log fire for those of us looking for extra warmth. Took the "Plat de jour". Excellent meat, tender with exquisite sauce. Chips as somebody has already written out of this world. Cheese platter for dessert was of a quality second to none. All reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back. Thank you for the degustation of Calvados.

We entered the restaurant and only wanted to drink coffee on the way, but when we saw the fireplace lit, we stayed for lunch. We didn't regret it for a second - the owners are very nice, the service and atmosphere are excellent, the food is excellent - a big thank you to the chef! The children's menu is not left out on the plate ;))) Excellent wine 👌🏼 Reasonable price - quality! A real pearl in the Black Mountains🫶🏻

Venue pour le restaurant, la cuisine est vraiment très bonne et de qualité. Le rapport qualité prix est bon et il y a la quantité ! Le service au top alors que nous étions 10. Les propriétaires ainsi que la saisonnière qui nous ont servis étaient très agréables. Un vrai lieu de vie où on se sent bien avec un très beau cadre !

The owners as well as the seasonal worker who served us were very pleasant. A real place to live where you feel good with a very beautiful setting!

J'ai eu l'occasion de manger dans cette auberge le 28 juillet 2021 et bien je dois dire que je ne suis pas déçue . • Le plat du jour était excellent ( tartare de boeuf ) (voir photo ) • Prix très raisonnable. 12 € le plat du jour . • Service excellent . • Présentation excellente. Rien à dire j'ai beaucoup apprécié c'était très bon et très consistant ! Je n'avais plus faim pour prendre le dessert . Impeccable bravo !

Extrêmement convivial. C'est un véritable lieu de vie. Tout le monde se connaît, s'arrête pour discuter. Les patrons sont charmants. Arrivée à vélo, c'était le seul hôtel restaurant à des kilomètres à la ronde. J'ai craqué, j'ai bien fait. Un bon repas, une chambre simple et une excellente nuit. Heureusement car dans le coin ça monte vraiment.

Extremely user friendly. It’s a real place to live. Everyone knows each other, stops to chat. The bosses are charming. Arriving by bike, it was the only hotel restaurant for miles around. I cracked, I did well. A good meal, a single room and a great night's sleep. Fortunately because in the area it’s really going up.

Perdu dans les montagnes noir, mais très sympathique et repas de qualité avec que des produits locaux. Mérite le détour, je recommande chaleureusement.
